LEVEL UP Guidelines & Achievements
Take your gaming to the next level at Gamers Sanctuary with LEVEL UP. When you participate in events at Gamers Sanctuary you are doing more than just playing for a chance at prizes and glory, you're earning LEVEL UP points. As you level up you attain rank and title along with some great rewards and even a few trophies.
What matters with LEVEL UP isn't whether you win or lose but that you were part of the adventure! Everyone that participates in any event at Gamers Sanctuary earns LEVEL UP points!
The LEVEL UP program doesn't reward you for winning - it rewards you for playing!
Event Ratings
LEVEL UP Points & Event Classifications
Every event run at Gamers Sanctuary, from weekly leagues to major prerelease events, are assigned a LEVEL UP rating. Every event, tournament, league, campaign, etc… falls into one of three categories:
Casual (3 points)
Premiere (7 points)
Legendary (15 points)
You can find the rating information on any particular event under its listing on the Gamers Sanctuary Event Calendar. You earn LEVEL UP points equal to an event's rating for each event you participate in.
League/Campaign Play
Leagues and campaigns, by design, span several weeks of play and are a great opportunity to earn LEVEL UP points. However, unlike tournaments and singular events that earn you LEVEL UP points right then and there, league and campaign based LEVEL UP points are accumulated throughout the course of the league/campaign. At the end of the league/campaign your LEVEL UP points are calculated using the rating of the event times the number of weeks you successfully completed. League/Campaign final tournaments are counted as singular events, separate from the league/campaign itself.
LEVEL UP Achievements
There are fourteen ranks and titles you can earn and each is accompanied by a reward. Along your journey up the LEVEL UP ladder you'll come across five milestone achievements known as Exalted achievements. These achievements carry with them, apart from the standard rewards, a trophy to proclaim to the masses what you have accomplished along with a boost to your AVATAR discount*.
*Must have an active AVATAR membership for this reward to apply.
Claiming Rewards & Trophies
As you ascend the LEVEL UP ladder you'll occasionally attain a new rank and title and, every so often, you'll hit a milestone or Exalted achievement. Every week the LEVEL UP Roster will be updated on the Gamers Sanctuary forums. This roster will detail all the players that have earned LEVEL UP points and their current rank and title. When you see that you've leveled up all you have to do is come into Gamers Sanctuary and claim your reward.
Continuing to LEVEL UP
No registration or sign-up is necessary to begin LEVELING UP, all a player needs to do is begin playing in Gamers Sanctuary events. The only way a player can lose their LEVEL UP rating is through inactivity. A player that is inactive for 90-days, that is a player that does not play in a single LEVEL UP rated event in 3 months, will be dropped, thus losing all accumulated LEVEL UP points. Dropped players are not banned from LEVEL UP but their previous accumulated points will not carry over once they begin playing again.
